We appreciate your visit to our website. Protecting your personal data is important to us. The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you about the processing of your personal data when visiting our website.

Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
The purpose of processing is the fulfillment of public tasks assigned to us by law, particularly the provision of information to the public.
The legal basis for processing your data, unless otherwise stated, is Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 4(1) BayDSG. This allows us to process data necessary for performing a task assigned to us.
Recipients of Personal Data
Your data may be transmitted to the competent supervisory and auditing authorities for exercising their respective control rights. To prevent IT security threats, data transmitted electronically may also be forwarded to the Bavarian State Office for Information Security, where it will be processed in accordance with Art. 12 ff. of the Bavarian E-Government Act.
Retention Period
Your data will only be stored as long as required for task fulfillment in compliance with statutory retention periods.
Logging
When you visit this or other websites, your browser transmits data to our web server. The following data is recorded during the connection:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the requested file
- Referring page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Browser and operating system used
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Amount of data transmitted
For technical security, particularly to prevent attacks on our web server, these data are stored. After seven days at most, the IP address is anonymized at the domain level so that individual users can no longer be identified.
Active Components
We use JavaScript. You can disable this in your browser, but doing so may result in display errors.
Processing Data Outside the EU
When using external providers or our social media offerings, data may be transferred to data centers outside the EU without adequate protections (e.g., USA). The ECJ ruling of 16.07.2020, C-311/18 ("Schrems II") concluded that the USA do not provide an adequate level of data protection. There is a risk of access to the data by US authorities without effective legal remedies, and enforceable rights for data subjects are lacking.
